My previous role involved implementing tailor-made workflows for TV productions. During this time, I also found a startup company aiming provide a marketplace for Cinematographic productions to hire kit. Being immersed in these environments kept my passion for tech going.

To me, trust and fluid communication within a team are key to thrive. They’re a promising foundation to build skills, grow and be happy at work. There’s another facet to my motivations: building with purpose! Innovating and creating products that will shape society in a positive light.

World Crisis Response Organisation | 1.5 weeks | Pair

Full Stack app rooted in Django REST framework/Python and PostgreSQL database with React.js front end build. The app is a platform for Help-seekers and NGOs to log world crises and collaborate to solving them.

Server side, I focused on the crises app’s MTV framework, making sure that nested serializers wrote and read data to/from the database as we planned our ERD. Client side, I mainly worked on setting up user dashboards, create and edit forms for both user types.

Planning productions to tailor and operate the project’s workflow by extracting requirements & specifications from the relevant departments (edit, camera, audio & office). Delivering under pressure is familiar because of the intrinsic nature of factual/unscripted productions, requiring adaptivity to environments that are hardly controllable. Continuous research was necessary, as well as involvement with the community of freelancers in their respective fields to streamline processes and consume resources efficiently within the current industry standards. Other aspects involved negotiating contracts and self-managing my accountancy.

My responsabilities involved bootstrap funding management, building a board of advisors, networking, project management, marketing, finance management and legal. I learned to build on lean methodologies, fulfill continual research and improvement, be adaptive, be rigorously organised and persistent to reach my objectives.
